It is in Rennes that the Brittany Duchess and the King of France union was celebrated at the end of the 15th century. This wedding led to the slow and complex integration process of Brittany to the French Kingdom, from 1532 to 1789.

The Flowery Island is certainly the best suited nickname for Bréhat island, the Pink Granit Coast jewel nestled in the middle of pink rocks and a deep blue sea, surrounded by 86 islets and reefs.
